World Order, by Henry Kissinger
World Order (2015)
The order-builder's own account of how the postwar equilibrium is coming apart and the grammar of the multipolar order that any "partnership of equals" would have to operate inside. Kissinger consistently underrates technology as an ordering force, and reading him with that in mind is more instructive than reading him for agreement.
Read it asking: Kissinger's world is the historical view, made of states negotiating with states. Is the world order after the Techtonic Shift something he would recognize?
